For 20 years Simmons Foundation Annual Life Skills Basketball Camp has been committed to providing a comprehensive summer experience for children that emphasizes personal development and teamwork on the basketball court. This free community event will feature a Life Skills Workshop conducted by Civil Rights Activist Alvertis Simmons. Our camp features a variety of activities designed to foster skill-building, creativity, and social interaction. With a dedicated team of experienced staff members, we ensure a safe and engaging environment for all attending the camp this year. Join us this summer to create unforgettable memories and forge lifelong friendships while learning new skills in a supportive setting.

The Simmons Foundation for Youth & Change (SFYC) will be hosting their "19th Annual Life Skills Basketball Camp," this June. The Basketball Camp will be directed by East High School Hall of Famer & 2014 State Champion, Coach Rudy Carey. The Life Skills Workshop will be conducted by Civil Rights Activist, Alvertis Simmons.
Details: Youth Ages 7 - 18 years old, Free Lunch Served Daily, $100 Free Throw Shooting Contest. There will be a field trip to Skate City.
